I agree that it's all a PR stunt and that BL is usually the loudest. It seems as though the market does not care about incremental studies, because depending on the time of the study, and one of the top players could be #1. What seems more important is the ability to deliver complementary products in addition to virus detection, with the distribution capabilities to hit a wide audience. I think NETA has the competitive advantage over the other guys by being able to offer PGP and TIS products (not to mention Sniffer and Service Desk). As NETA integrates all of these over the next 12 mos., I think you will begin to hear them talk about customer wins due to a broader set of products. I don't think that SOLLY (or most of the other guys for that matter) has much else to offer besides great virues detection tools and mindshare in the UK. NETA can also offer great virus detection, but also provide a number of other security and network solutions. I think this is why we've seen such an awesome move in NETA's price over the last 2+ months. The market has begun to see the strategy and it should pay off (hopefully) in the short and long term. Looking forward to any comments.
