I would have to agree with you. Given the most recent report from Merrill Lynch's Tom Kurlack, Intel is in trouble until Merced comes out, and CPQ will have it's own set of near term problems.

For both CPQ or INTC, they would be making more money now if they had a server based Pentium II to sell. The only servers we (the company I program for) can get right now are 200mhz P. Pro based (we got about 6 Compaq 4way servers now) I think a lot of companies will hold off buying new servers until 400mhz PII, SlotII based servers come out. Not sure when these new servers will be out, but probably not until October.
