JP, you are right. The market is not paying attention to spec stocks when you could double your money on a bank stock. The market is behaving irrationally (Ballard at 400x earnings?) There will be money moving back into spec market when the big market falls apart (probably within the next 6 mos.) Does this mean avoid spec stocks? NO! You just have to find a company that is not based on hype (ie: Montello) but on fundamentals such as cash, management, proven track record, property location....ect. Do not go and chase the flavour of the month IN THIS TYPE OF MARKET. IMO the risk reward on ACA and PUG look very favorable and with each new pipe the risk is reduced. I know that many of the men out there may disagree but SIZE DOES MATTER and the pipes that have been found to date greatly increase the chance of success due to thier size! There are still many pieces of the puzzle missing but I can see an image of a 30ct pink diamond starting to form :)
