I have no sour grapes whatsoever....
In fact, I own several Wintel machines, can't stand the Mac's, and am a long term invester in both MSFT, and INTC.....
Just stating that Oracle and Sun (Particularly Oracle)
are in an entirely diferent world from the Wintel.... Oracle's business is Relational Databases, and will continue to be the revenue generator.. The NC in my opinion is just a waste of time for Oracle...
I guess that Larry is so content with owning the RDBMS market, that he is getting sidetracked with this NC publicity.
I was merely stating that Oracle Would still own the RDBMS market today, regardless if MSFT existed or not (And they did, before Windows ever hit the street!)
ditto for sun, but to a lesser extent and a different business...
