But for the average user a 486SX performed just as well as a 486DX (at the same clock of course).. becuase most of what most users did back then was integer. Now the Cacheless PII will be no faster than a standard pentium (from all accounts) and will get slammed (at least at first for it).

Now the Celeron may work in the long run, but I don't expect a big success in the first 2 months.
