In the early 80's there was the Mac and MsDos and IBM PCs. >>>CR LUM, When the Technology "FIRST" came out. For example, when Window first came out remembered the early 80s, look at how succesful Microsoft is now. <<< As for technology, Wintel technology and Fuel Cell technology are different things. Not every 8 year child prodigy is going to get a Fuel Cell car for his/her birthday. But maybe a sub $1000 PC with Windows 98. But Ballard is doing it the opposite of MSFT. Ballard's stock price is successful now. Multi Billion $$$ market Cap with NO earnings. Just wait till those earnings start coming in . BLD's stock price will come back to reality. But as long as BLD says earnings won't come in till the next century, no actual proof on how well BLD is doing. So the stock price can go to MARS in the mean time. To face reality Manufacturing a fuel cell is not going to bring in 50% profit margins. Your going to get the same profit margins as an automotive parts manufacturer. cl
