Jim,
FLESH was talking about the increase in FAMH share price (from $0.09 to $0.60) since Ira joined the company.

Markox, the 1997 EPS is based on average number of shares outstanding for 1997. (I've seen the formula --> it's almost as if it is based on a daily average of outstanding shares. i.e. adding up every day's o/s and dividing by 365) This makes sense since the $0.1085 was earned throughout the year and not on any particular day.

So, 1997 may have ended with 36 million shares o/s, but if it that was only since Nov or Dec, then it doesn't carry that much weight in the calculation.

I agree that we should be able to see where these shares are going. Because as each one is issued, it is as if a piece of the ownership is being given away.

However, IRA is on the same boat. His ownership declines as well. So you must believe that the shares are being used to purchase PROFITABLE companies that will contribute proportionally more to the bottom line.

See ya'
