Thread, there is a story on Bloomberg regarding Shell spending $1 billion to develop three GOM oil and gas projects to add 300 million barrels of oil to its reserve base. I don't subscribe, but here's the link to the headline. Looks like big oil is stepping up to the plate yet again. bloomberg.com
