Chris,
I think I understand what you're saying. This is a bug I experienced in MSWIN 6.0. I found that if I saved a setup under a specific name (say MY_TEMPLATE.mwt), the property that puts the stock symbol on the title bar was saved and worked. When I used r. click on the chart window and "save as default template", the property got lost.

One trick that worked was to save the setup specifically to Default.mwt (this is where the Default template is stored). I remember at least once I saved it to MY_TEMPLATE.mwt, then using Windows Explorer, made a copy of MY_TEMPLATE.mwt and named it Default.mwt. This got around the bug. Obviously it's a pain if you plan to change your default template regularly.

I don't have this problem with MSWIN 6.5

Cheers,
Paul
