FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla., March 19 /PRNewswire/ -- Andrx Corporation ADRX today denied as
false and libelous the accusations
publicly announced by Medix Resources, Inc. MDIX earlier today. In that announcement, Medix and
its subsidiary, Cymedix Lynx
Corporation, alleged theft and unlawful appropriation of computer medical software and
communications technology by Andrx and its
subsidiary, CyBear, Inc. Andrx says Cymedix's accusations and threatened claims have no basis in
substantial fact or legal support. Work
commenced on CyBear(R)'s software and technology prior to the dates cited by Cymedix and was
independently developed or licensed by
CyBear(R). Andrx and CyBear intend to vigorously defend these false accusations and spurious
claims, and will be taking strong and
appropriate counteractions.
