Well, just bought 515 shares of LGND at 15 3/16 a couple of weeks ago. Based on price target of $24 put out by Lehman, if my math is right (and it probably isn't) I would make 36% return in a year. I'd take that any day! Hope they are right that "over the next 12 months....numerous additional clinical, regulatory, and strategic news events" will be coming out. That will help bring in new buyers. I have read a lot about their drugs and feel that Targretin might be an amazing drug with many applications. The results with the 72% remission of cancer in rats is incredible. I don't understand all the gene talk, being that this is new to me, but I like that the big companies are handing Ligand their money to discover more drugs. That says they believe in Ligand and gives me reason to believe they are onto something--many things in fact.
