hossein, sound like a good way to play DEC/CPQ at this time. As you may have already heard, there was a rumor on the Street that the deal was coming apart. CPQ and DEC issued a statement denying the rumor and saying that they are working hard in order to close the deal. They also said the deal will not be repriced.

On another note, although it affects DEC and CPQ, is my concern with the market's valuation and the problems confronting the hitech companies. I think the only things that are now keeping the market up are low interest rates and low inflation. Corporate earnings are starting to fall...I believe this is the Asian affect that we have be waiting for. Price cutting in the pc market another problem. Talking about $500 computers...hell, they may as well sell 2 for 1.

As I previously noted, I sold my DEC at 61 and will sit on the sidelines for now. Although, I am invested in other companies. You might want to look into a company by the name of Storage Technology (STK). I am not recommending that you buy the stock, but you might want to research to company.

Good luck with your DEC investment.
