I play internet games alot. I experience alot of lag in games like Duke Nukem and no lag using Links LS (using Kali for both). Obviously packet size and frequency is the main culprit for lag in Duke. I run off of a cable modem so the lag I see isn't primarily from me...rather the opponents using an analog connection. I would imagine that Falcon 4 with 200+ players would need to exchange alot of information. Perhaps with improved compression decent game play can be realized.

Not my specialty (all the discussions about bandwith). Definately am interested in all comments and look forward to learning a bit more in this area...thanks all.
