You're correct, the "earnings" announcement is bad. For those of you who haven't seen it, biz.yahoo.com I noticed there were a lot of "asks" today and not too many "bids." I guess this explains it. Well, at least they took the $28 million write-off in FY 97. Hopefully, that got the bad news out all at once. If management didn't write off enough while the bad news was being released, it will serve as a (or another?) sign of incompetence. In this period of dis-inflation, what do you think about the "higher product costs" that impacted earnings? Best wishes, I2
