The Basic fundamental concept of the Fuel Cell is the same. How they improve it is their advantage, whether its from advance engine controls, materials, improved sensors, 2 or more valves/cylinder, variable timing, etc... Thats why a V-8 from GM is not the same as a V-8 from Ford, Chrysler, Honda, MB, Navistar, etc. But the basic fundamental concept of an Internal combustion engine is the same in all these V-8 engines. Fundamental Research versus Applied Research Even in some of Ballard's PR it mentions there FC technology is the same as the technology used by NASA in their space programs. cl >>>Well its not exactly the same as what they got from NASA is it?
