Brian, I am looking forward to your list of good long term investment stocks. I am having a little trouble getting a handle on your biotec investment views. I noted that you think that biotecs are great long term investments reply#15004 . I hope you include in your list of recommended stocks the biotecs that you believe are the good long term investments. I noted that you believe that Ligand is one of the better "risky" biotecs reply#17659 but that it is not a good long term investment. You also indicate that most biotecs are very risky reply#17642 . What this indicates to me ( I do not have a doctorate nor any honors degrees in a related field, just a BSCE and trying to learn) is that you believe that biotecs are good long term investments but there is a very select group of biotecs that fit this category. You put Ligand towards the top of most biotecs (the risky category). If I can put this together for biotec stocks. If an investor wants a mix of risky stocks and good long term investments, one would put a portion of their funds in the better risky biotecs(LGND) and then another portion of funds in the not so risky good long term biotec stocks that you are planning on presenting to us sometime next week. fair weather ahead Zeuspaul
