David

I sent an e-mail to Brooks also and found out that Osicom has only passed phase I testing and still must pass phase II. They also noted that they have not progressed to live customer trials.

The bottom line is don't expect any revenue from the GigaMux any time soon.

I have included the e-mail in my post.

Osicom passed Phase I testing with a BER of 10 to the -14 over a period of ninety days.

Our lab does not have any corporate affiliation with any of the vendors tested in the National Data Systems Research Lab in Stockton, CA. Prior to approval, the Gigamux must pass the second phase of the trial within the Dallas, TX metropolitan area network.

Please note that testing has not progressed to live customer trials yet and Dr. Hrubes has not approved the Gigamux for network deployment. The initial trial was encouraging but not conclusive. There were many outstanding issues regarding SNMP management, completion of drop-and-insert, and additional
wave length.

Thank-you for your inquiry.
