Rodger, regarding this paragraph:

"The logic here is simple. This product is very price sensitive. Stores are advertising it for 149 or 139 or less. They will send in a rebate that accounts for 25% of the purchase price... To think otherwise would be silly."

The problem with this line of reasoning is that most questions cannot be answered by the application of logic alone. One has to have a valid factual basis for beginning to consider the question.

Plus, as has already been pointed out, your figures assume that the rebate applies in Europe and Asia, which it doesn't.

BTW, someone else said that European sales for Q3 were "insignificant and DOWN from Q2." Only half right. Yes, down from Q2, but 51 million dollars out of 310 million is hardly insignificant.
