Your conjectures lack support. I find the fact that you need to deflect the analysis by making points that are irrelevant and quite obviously unintentional, re: "ant TA" and the DOW remark. It's evident I haven't seen your posts around during a market scenerio as we have currently and "rah rahing" a stock to greater heights, well, I like to base my "opinions" on facts people can use to support or contradict their ideas.
I held a position in ORCL recently and have traded it successfully. You made the statement:
"In my opinion, however, ORCL is still poised to out perform the market over the next quarter and fair value is closer to $40 than $30" Although I see support for ORCL, where were you when it was at 22.5 where I first bought this? A 50% gain in such a short period of time is quite a move. "Fair value", can you explain what this is in relation to ORCL's competition, PE etc...?
I don't mean to be mean spirited but this is a critical time in this market technically. Those who bought issues today for the long term may or WILL lose money in the short term.
Check out CAT, IBM, MSFT, LU, INTC, HWP, SUNW... All had negative internals in regards to block sells. On the other hand AOL bottomed and finally had a positive day on the block side. First time in almost three weeks. The NAZ has had negative internals the last two days, the first time since the first part of the year. At that time it dropped 45+ points. Just the facts, no opinions.
I currently have two positions, neither of which is in ORCL at the moment. I am waiting for a pullback to buy again. Tried to go short a few issues today and did not get executions.
