I guess that this type of comment just goes to show the problems that exist with communications. Firstly, I think that you meant to write "anyone notice" not "any notice". A minor slip, but it shows what I mean about mistakes.
Please review my message and you will find that I said that "in the beginning" none of Avalon's people visited the chat group. I clearly indicate in my post that later on we did find out about the site, and visited it, and we were surprised at what we found. The recent hullabaloo on the site was brought to my attention by faxes sent to our office, not because anyone from Avalon frequents the site. If you are simply trying to catch falsehoods in my statements, you are on the wrong track and only serve to undermine the true usefulness of groups sharing views and information.
This discussion has nothing to do with increasing shareholder value which is the main task with which the Officers and Directors of Avalon are charged. In short, it's a waste of time and you can see why we are reluctant to become drawn into such chat groups.
It took some considerable time to construct the comments that I made in my earlier post and I even had to find out how to become a member last night to be able to make the post (for the record, it was my FIRST POST).
To all of you, I ask that you will not be disappointed that I do not now respond to any more of these posts but you do all have my personal home telephone number and if you have a valid issue about Avalon, I will do my best to help you. If you're checking on my spelling then save the cost of your call and let me get on with the rest of the Avalon team and build our company. I don't anger easily but these recent episodes deserve a strong response.
Once the antagonism towards us has died down a little - and we have a strong story to release to everyone - we will look into the value of these types of chat groups as a valid communications tool. We will assist those shareholders of our stock, and those who follow it closely, by responding to the channels that they find useful. Until then, I am signing off.
