Leon, I guess I was wrong about your tactics. They seem to be working. By the way, I did not mean to imply that the system is only DOS compatible. I said that it seems that the patent only COVERS a DOS compatible digital dictation system. Perhaps the patent does also cover such a system running under other platforms, but the abstract does not even mention other platforms. I was never worried about the operation of the system under Windows or Unix - I'm pretty sure it works. I was simply stating my concerns about the protection (or lack thereof) offered by this patent.
