A.E., you're saying you closed your account after 3/31/96 and they still allowed you to buy shares, did they restrict the amt you could buy or was it the same ratio...?? Did they give you a problem when you called the conversion center?? A friend of mine in the same situation wasn't able to buy any stock, are you sure you still didn't have a small amt left on deposit...

Do they have to allow you to purchase stock if you closed acct after record date??
