ALL secondaries dilute shareholders in the short term HOWEVER if the Secondary increases the ownership/exposure of the Company to the all-important Financial Institution world ( which the roadshow did successfully ), then the overall benefit will be increased market valuation which increases shareholder equity. Alot also depends upon how the Company puts the proceeds to work, eg, increasing plant capacity to increase revenues/profits or making another acquisition. Furthermore a Small cap company does not get "free" Wall St analyst coverage like a MSFT or INTC. A Small cap has to "buy" coverage via IPO, Secondary or Debt offering.
