OK Ignacio I will go by parts.
<< There is no water at the core of the moon for many different reasons. Tell me, what are you thinking? >>
When did I say there was water at the core? You are talking about the surface one moment, and the core the next to show me why there can't be life on the moon. There is a distance of 1738 km from the center to the surface. It is believed by NASA that the moon has a partially molten mantle, beneath a crust that averages 68 km thick. I am thinking that if there is molten rock beneath the surface, and extremely cold conditions on the surface, there will be a temperature gradient between the two. It follows that at some point between the two there will be a stable area where the temperature will be warm enough to keep water from freezing without boiling it. Where do you find fault in this logic?
<< What is the energy source that you have in mind (radiogenic I suppose). >>
Energy for what? To sustain life, or to keep the interior warm? Radioactive decay supplies most of the energy to keep the interior of the Earth hot, and is plenty to keep the moon warm, even though it's smaller diameter convects the heat to the surface more rapidly. The energy to sustain life would be chemical, just as it is on Earth.
<< How deep are you talking about? How is life getting what it needs there? What chemistry could take place? >>
As deep as water needs to stay warm. Why would life, if it exists there, have any more trouble getting what it needs, than life below the surface of the Earth. The chemistry could be, but need not be, different than that which sustains life on Earth.
<< How are you getting the water there? Many satellites are mostly ice but the Moon is different. >>
I already told you. Mostly comets, just as on Earth. Do you think that they would have only hit Earth? I am fully aware that the moon is different. It does not need to have a lot of water to evolve and sustain life, only to have a warm stable amount for a reasonably long period of time. No one has established what that period of time is for life to evolve, that I am aware of.
You are clearly a biased surface dweller who is used to basking in the sunshine, while sipping iced tea. There are examples of life on Earth that lives in conditions from boiling acid, to the insides of rocks on Antarctica, to the rims of volcanic vents at the dark bottom of deep ocean trenches. Saying life cannot exist on the moon is a reckless statement on your part. It cannot be ruled out by anything that you have shown me.
When I am shown to be correct, I will expect you, and Father Terrence, to do penance before I will allow you to address me. In the meantime, I will allow it.
