QGENF is up another 8% in early german trading. Those that want to check german trading can go to lgbank.de look for name Qiagen, symbol QIA or type in WPKN 901626. With a 1999 PE below 100 it is still one of the more reasonalbly priced members of the german "Neuer Markt". I would begin to plan if there should be a stop loss buyback or if the model is ready to accept a potential 100+% paper loss. The Neue Markt looks like a bubble in the making. But it is not yet clear whether or when the bubble will burst. The index of the complete market went up 6% monday another 6% tuesday down 9% wednesday and up 4.5% thursday. If the current mania persists Qiagen can easily double again. Andreas
