<<What about if they surpirse? Hey you never know>>

I don't want to sound too negative, but have you been paying attention lately? Surprise?!?!?! I don't think so homey.

Let's look at their two biggest customers(not necessarily in any order):
1) WDC - both Tenney and Alexy have mentioned Tuscon production problems in the last few weeks...
2) Maxtor - take a look at the 1750 and 2160 announcements from them in 1997. RDRT either led the announcement or followed soon after with a supply announcement for the Maxtor product. Have your heard anything about the 2880 supply? It's been almost a month. If you hear a mention of not qualifying for that new line watch out below. Call them, ask them, why haven't we heard any news. Why did IBM suddenly get Maxtor as an OEM head customer??? This is the last Q for the 1750 line. That would leave RDRT with only the 2160 supply. They absolutely can't afford to lose Maxtor. This is really really bad.

I'd be careful on this one. Wait until you hear news. Listen to the MarQ98 CC and then decide whether RDRT has bottomed.
