Andy, The very bullish Goldman report of last friday(10/18/96) discloses some interesting points that didn't come out in the recent NVX announcement. 1)That the new Mfg Facility that they acquired is "completely operational and approved 2)That the increased output of vaccines should enhance NVX's competitive position in the vaccine business 3) that both domestic and especially international have been searching for just such a "fully operational" facility. And as Golden says "This acquisition is a sort of 'coup' for NVX. The closing paragraph wraps things up quite nicely. " We continue to expect the company to receive a favorable review of its first DTaP anchor vaccine on Oct. 29, and expect a promp approval of the product before/by the end of this calender year.. We maintain our purchase recommendation of the stock at current levels." This is the type of period "waiting for a relatively significant event to happen that one has to not let "emotions" take control of your actions IMHO THIS WEEK PATIENCE IS DEFINELY A VIRTUE. :-}
