IMHO, NETA's moves today to avoid export rules for PGP is a win-win situation for SDTI/RSA. If NETA succeeds, it opens the door for RSA to do the same (and expand the role they already play through their Japanese subsid), if NETA fails, they fail and we're back at square one with one more enemy (the US govt.)in Larson's pocket. I hope he does succeed - it will benefit all encryption vendors.
