I am in total agreement. It is a nice theory that has probably found a legitimate pattern in history but regardless of what history might have been, my guess is somebody could find a pattern. Whether or not the future will continue accordingly is totally the issue. As you mention there are enough caveats built into the ewave theory to 'rationally' accept its current and future failings.
