While I've dealt with many "retailers" over the years, I would NOT, I repeat *NOT* touch a Kruggerand w/a ten foot pole, let alone buy one... Twas one of the earliest counterfeited, "light in the socks"-hollowed out gold coins on the block, and they were prolifically made and distributed just prior to our "So. African" sanctions period as well as during! ...very hard to spot!!! unless you have a specific electrical conductivity tool! The word from me (and from other reputable coin dealers) be they the glittering "retail" Rodney establishments or private dealers is: DON'T BUY KRUGGERANDS...they are discounted for a reason, folks! Hey, it's YOUR money! O/49r
