What's this? To those of you who were hoping/wishing AMD would advertise more a' la Intel, were those AMD ads between innings of the World Series games? They were AMD, but I might have seen them on other than World Series coverage. Kind of cute, showed kids, politically correct, AMD's logo and colors (green) prominent. As I was going to the refrigerator after just seeing one of them, I had to think: most people in the country probably have no idea what an AMD is, whereas Intel has been doing it's blitzkrieg for so long, they're probably a household name. Oh well, you have to start somewhere.

Kind of neat to see an AMD ad and an Intel one a little later, sort of like comparing Budweiser's and Miller's ads, or Toyota and Chevy. Actually the box makers are the main advertisers for Intel, with that, what's that something-or-other inside? ;-}

Ciao,
Tony
