Parsival, this is a very important discussion, and takes in the thinking of thousands of intelligent Americans especially, who have made what ends up being an omlet in the end, and you can't quite separate the egg again, and can't see where yoke begins and ends,
and I've been there, so understand it. The astounding thing is your omlet did not leave you a God-hating aethiest. Nor did mine. But I was drifting farther every day from Jesus, and I believe getting a little nuttier behind Rama Krishna concept as I was. That is what still scares me. What if no one had stopped the drifting?

You also reinforce a discussion going here. There are those in their zeal for Jesus Christ--whose reality so totally change our lives for the good that it is impossible not to be obsessed with Him, His name, His life, His Words, His Death, His Blood. Impossible.

Ah. But do we then totally forget about the God of Job? The God of Moses? The God that Jesus, the Son, says no man can actually "know" except through Him, Jesus?

Apparently some do, because many feel that speaking of God other than in the one name, person, and being of Jesus is blasphemy. And this totally contradicts every word out of His mouth. And I think cuts off the ability of the Holy Spirit to work. Hence, do you see much of the Holy Spirit working anywhere in your church? Really working? Really
feel His presence. Has the congregation ended up lately in total silence, tears running out of their closed eyes, all mumbling prayers in private, many face down on the carpet praying. And then followed by healings and salvations as people quickly move in that mode through the presence of the Spirit to act according to the ppromptings of the Spirit of the Living God Himself?

Or are you offering a mighty horrendous rawkus clap offering for a good round of music? Which, for the life of me doesn't really differ much from the mighty raukus clap offering the pagans and cowboys offer after their good round of sing-along music blasted from Peavey Rock Concert amplifiers.

Actually, Parsival, I rather feel you might be uncomfortable in the second. But if you have by chance rediscovered the first, tell me where, and I'll fly there.

I will give your questions most serious answer, and of course Gregor and Shalom, and the rest will be happy to join in, I hope.

To be continued, I certainly hope.
