there are markets--- and then there are markets. 40% of the world's population is in China and India, and sooner or later the stock markets in Bombay and Beijing will dwarf ours, if they adopt the same securities systems we use. Greed is a human thing, I don't think the U.S. has a monopoly on it. I don't think i'd want to be out of the global stock market in the next ten years. I'd be willing to bet the global wealth gets redistributed in some very surprising ways.
