Would any atheist or Buddhists like to step forward and bang themselves against gregors assertion that we have the Word of God on which to fall, gregor do you actually believe that Christ is ineffectual without the Bible. What mechanism exists for Christians to identify fruitful ground, what attracts a non-believer to Christ. Do you believe banging a Buddhist on the head with your particular translation of the Bible is the key to bringing him to Christ, you are a most disconcerting Christian, if indeed you are one. Do you look at the world and see Christians everywhere or do you see those who might become Christian.
You misunderstand me if you think I will acknowledge fraternity with you, so do not expect me to acknowledge your authority in Christ.
If people like you did what was required within your brethren then I would not be here hacking at these haters. You cannot instruct me because I do not accept your authority, I am still measuring here with my simple yardstick.
The fact of the matter is simple. You are a poster who is well known here on these "religious threads". I believe it is incumbent upon certain people, who wear the obvious mantle of Christ, to actually be Christians before I would acknowledge fraternity. You can acknowledge your fraternity with Jane Hafker and I can believe neither of you are in Christ, it is simple, like a light blue stain, hard to see, impossible to remove.
Jane can continue to preach her brand of hatred on your behalf, I will not attempt to instruct her, as I will not acknowledge a fraternity with those who will willfully do evil, thereby demonstrating that they do not believe the greatest scripture.
At this point it is fine for you to step forward and offer your fraternity to Jane, I believe that Jane would be a better Christian if she would accept your teaching, that is my belief, you may choose to acknowledge Jane Hafker's authority and accept her fraternity...Jane Hafker, do accept the fraternity of gregor, will you walk with him in the light of Christ ?
