Jim, As weird as it sounds, insurance cos. love disasters. Seeing houses rolling down the hills causes millions of folks to buy policies.

The 4 biggest that I know about in that area, and this is just from talking to folks who live there, not from any solid data, are State Farm (private), Lloyds of London, AllState, and Prudential. I think Allstate may be the only play, but it is selling at all time highs thanks to the disasters.
