Copied this off the Yahoo MRVC thread.

This whole road show thing could be resolved by ONE of us calling MRVC's investor relations, and simply asking a few direct questions. Too easy. Here is my guess:
Roadshow was intended to re-assure analysts of companies fundamentals because the accounting for the xyplex purchase may be complicated. Recall that we bought X for little cash, and stock options @$35. Now, if Whittaker thinks MRVC is worth $35, and INTC thinks so too, why, I'm just a stupid WebDrone, and I'm holding my shares. Accounting may be a bit confusing, though.
Inventory issues- Maybe the company learned something when they explained the inventory issue in CC, and the stock got pounded anyhow. I expect inventory issues to stay about the same. Recall that the purpose of the inventory is to insure fast delivery times to customers- a competetive advantage.

NOW, HERE IS SOME GOOD STUFF FOR YOU ALL (except for Shorty)

data.com

<...Data Communications Real-World Seminars presents its Switched LAN ShootOut VI with Robert Mandeville. This unique one-day program will provide you with both the knowledge and the tools necessary to produce the most effective switched IP network strategy for your corporate network...
Participating vendors will present their switched network solution, based on a common, real-world network RFP created by Data Communications and Mr. Mandeville. Each vendor's solution will be presented and then challenged -- by Mr. Mandeville, attendees, as well as other vendors. This format allows you to use Mr. Mandeville as your personal consultant in reviewing an RFP response. And, as each solution is based on a common RFP, it allows for true compare and contrast of the solutions as they apply to your needs.

Check out the very last logo, prominently displayed on this page. That's right!

There you go. Visibility. You can bet the company wants to get this right, and is priming the analysts on the advantages of some of Company's proprietary implementations, especially after getting beat-up in C/net on 64 byte packet conflicts.(I'm still trying to contact the author... I promise. Calling every day)

Well, there you go. News.
Would one of the fine SI lurkers please edit my rant, and post the url and schedule on SI, with my kind regards? Thanks.
