I don't think you understand my question. I know this puts more preasure on CPQ and IBM with their inventory. CPQ is not really trying to make money on anything at this point.

MY question is:
Dell will lower prices right ?
DELL sells higher priced machines right ?
Dell has high ASPs right ?
DELLs margins are directly tied to their ASP's right ?
(my may disagree on this one)

If DELL cuts their high end, that is anything with a 333 in it, by $200 / per 333 in the box, Won't that lower their overall ASP ?
What this does to CPQ is irevelent.
Lets talk about how it impacts DELL's bottom line.
