Rudedog, it might be interesting for you to check back on posts made late last summer and early this fall regarding Compaq's BTO program. People like Jim Kelley, Meathead, JBN3 and myself among others (my apologies if I left anyone out -- it was inadvertent) discussed this eventuality at length, and predicted CPQ's problems. It came as no surprise to any of us, and so I would expect that MSD and company had also analyzed the situation along similar lines. Remember, MSD said that he viewed Compaq's foray into sub-zeros as a gift to Dell. Regards, Paul
