There is no question in my mind that Deutsche Telecom will go with NN/Siemens because Siemens IS Germany and nationalpride is involved.But more than that NN/Siemens have the best products. When the contracts start coming out , NN to US $40 fast and furious. Not only that, DT owns an interest in Siemens. Study the German telecommunications/banking industries and you'll see many are joined at the hip --- a fact I discovered when AMTX was being bought by TXN and I checked out Deutsche Morgan Grenfell, Amati's bankers. It's who you know as much as what you have that counts. Witness Cisco having to buy contracts to get its foot in the door at US West. Just my take -- Pat
