X, what exactly is a pod? I hope it's nothing that requires any assembly!! Isn't a pod something from outer space, come to think of it? I could have several of those in my basement, and never really notice them, as you might guess. A basement is not a very warm and cozy place for a woman who would never be able to turn the water heater off after an earthquake. Oh, this is bringing back more embarrassing recollections. When we got our new washer and dryer I washed a load of laundry, I was such a PROUD domestic goddess at that moment, but when it came time to put it into the dryer, there was absolutely no latch or button or anything else that would make the dryer open. I even tried using my fingernails, before I started crying. When my daughter came home she showed me how to step on the little lever that pops the door open. I felt so stupid!! You can imagine how disoriented I am with all the different ways you can flush a public toilet now. But I do really like the sinks that turn on like magic, when you just stick your hands under the faucet. I need more appliances like that at home! Christine
