In some measure, the inspiration for this thread derived from
such an observation, i.e., the curious lack of publicity apper-
taining to Mr. Brinker and his remarkable market savvy. Indeed,
the introductory message of this thread more than hinted at the
seeming irony that Brinker, a Titan amongst market timers, lin-
gered behind the arras whilst a semi-comic blunderess basked
in the limelight of public adulation.

Some weeks ago, Brinker shed his own light onto this matter
in reply to a question not unlike yours. To recall it, Brinker
stated that, solicitations from the press notwithstanding, he or-
dinarily eschews press interviews and instead refers reporters
to his newsletter for his thoughts on the market. Paraphrasing
Brinker, "All I know about the market, I write in my newsletter."
