Willy, I know it sounds "slow" to receive only via satellite and send via the phone lines, but unless you are hosting a web page, there are very few characters that actually get "sent" from your common web browsing user. Pictures, sounds, etc can take up alot of bandwidth. Of course, for such web features as Internet telephony, or two-way video, then the Satellite/Phone internet hookup would be inadequate. I understand your concerns. I have an ISDN hookup now which is nice, but still inadequate. DSL will rule for my grandchildren and since my oldest son is 4, I'm not holding my breath. I hate to think that the cable companies would have an advantage over the DBS systems with internet and perhaps local phone service. Is anybody out there using Data Services on EchoStar??? I'd like to know if there stock market info. services is very good. The demo on the web looks weak. Glad to see Echostar running strong today. I think I'm ready to jump in this stock now. My QCOM is going to be stagnant until ASIA turns around. Carter
