peter... end of story on that bear credit spread if you had the cajones to wait until the end of the day ( I would not have) the profit 8125(not including commissions) in one week with a risk of 1875 (but remember the cash sits in your account the whole time because you had a 4.625 credit..so you earn interest) there is a 99 leap I am looking at that could put 48k in your account on 50 contracts and because of the interest ... definitely help pay for the risk factor... where did the stock end up.... somewhere right in between the 20 and the 25 spread so you see....you can make money ....the stock basically dropped two - to 2 1/2 points and on 50 contracts the net was 8125 of course if it had been under 20 that would have been 23125 all figures approximate...
