number of shares were reduced b/c:
the converts were issued in 1997 under old management, to old management -and others. EA cleaned house last summer, brought in a new CEO and board, and shut down a number of side ventures. the stock went from $1-$2 to current $5-$6, after spiking to $9.
new ceo has convinced old management and holders of converts to change the strike price on the bonds, since it was their stupidity that forced it down to $1-$2 and their departure which helped get the stock back up.

i'd be careful shorting this one----new management has radically different ideas than old one
