That does sound interesting. It does sound great for handheld game systems. I doubt it would catch on for audio because music would have to be released for it in addition to CD and because the capacity is so much lower than a CD. Also, I would think that small computers need writable storage.

Iomega's Clik! should be a competitor and should be released earlier. Clik! has lower capacity and higher $/MB, but it is writable. I would say Clik! has greater potential because it is writable, but OROM could do well in smaller markets where read only is OK.
