Khawn,

It stands for Due Diligence. As it implies, doing research before
investing. You will see this term virtually everywhere you go
on SI. It is a warning not to trust anyone or anything you read
on these threads. It is also used as a disclaimer so as to protect
oneself from being relied upon for investment advice. Due your
own DD is a watchword. It is very important until you know who you
are dealing with and then make your decisions whether or not someone
is trustworthy. Some people are. Most people on this thread are
but not all. DO your DD.
