All,
Have I missed something?

Has anyone posted, on this thread, Intel's projection today of 1 Billion PCs connected to the Internet within the next few years?.... ( One Intel spokesman thought within 5 years).

"Such leaps in processing power would help to spark a boom in
the Internet and a rise in the world's PC population to more
than one billion in the next few years, from 200 million now."

Now think about it. That's 500 % growth in 5 years.

Think of all those Servers that are going to be needed to support all these new PCs.

How many PCs, on average, will there be for each required Server?

Why hasn't Tom Kurlak, or the other Wall Street analysts written about these Intel projections? Statements like today's were made by Intel almost a year ago, yet analysts have virtually ignored it.
(See my post last May after attending Intel's analysts meeting)
Regards,
Jules
