"Mac is a stay at home, the Wintel is an adventurer, getting new stuff, pushing the envelope, getting a funny disease etc."
LOL. Bill, you been using recreational chemicals? WINTEL an "adverturer?" Unbelievable! Name all the desktop computing innovations introduced by the WINTEL world. Then make a similar list for the Mac. Please post.
"I have used the Apple, and well I remember that little bolsheviki black sphere with the fuse that told me to start again. Do they still use that?"
I don't know. I haven't seen one in years. My system never crashes. Oh, Netscape 3.02 crashes once in a while, but not the Mac OS.
"I used to make my ads in PM2, then 3, then 4 on the Mac and that little bomb happened more often that I liked, so they are not immune.."
It's obvious you have a small problem with relevancy here Bill. Let's just say you're slightly out of date. In short, you simply have no idea what you're talking about WRT modern Macs.
BTW, a little light reading for you amusement: techweb.com.
