Here Is Financial Posts release; Booker Gold Explorations Ltd - In the News Post says stock rises on "rich" BC find Booker Gold Explorations Ltd BGE Shares issued 6,954,236 Oct 21 close $4.15 Tue 22 Oct 96 In the News The Financial Post reports in its Tuesday edition that shares of Vancouver junior Booker Gold Explorations rose sharply on Monday as the company said it has found a $1 billion, high-grade copper-gold core in a northern BC copper porphyry deposit. Reporter John Schreiner notes that Booker says it has discovered what may be the richest high-grade zone in a copper-gold porphyry in BC. The discovery is on the company's 100 per-cent-owned Hearne Hill property northeast of Smithers, near where Noranda Mining & Exploration operated its Bell Copper and Granisle copper mines. The former closed in 1992 and the latter in 1982. Whelan Beliveau analyst Dorothy Atkinson says she rates Hearne Hill among the ten best exploration projects in BC. Booker shares, which have a 52-week range of $7.25 to $2.35, rose $0.36 to $4.15 on Monday. The company has only 8.3 million shares outstanding. Booker is currently trying to raise $5 million in a private placement for further exploration. Actually the drill results are what got me excited I just noticed they don't include them in this report if you like I will post them today. They had one hole of 125 mters if I recall right of big time copper and gold.
