Dennis, I spent today and yesterday at the SPG Conference. From my time on SI I've met everyone from analysts to journalists to investors to CEOs in this industry. I have friends that are Y2K directors. I can assure you that getting a company to issue a press release is like pulling teeth. Getting them to list lines of code or dollar amount is rare indeed as I proved here a while back by going through several months of Y2K contracts and finding only a couple with any numbers on them.

Furthermore, you state: I think they selectively announce contracts/pilots so as to give the impression that these "blue chips" have endorsed ALYD's product when in fact it is a pilot for only a few lines.

Have you even read Alydaar's web site? You know, where they quote the Y2K directors of some of their big name clients? Have you, like feltburner, called these companies on your own to check ALYD's references? No, of course not.

It's one thing to state an opinion. It's quite another, IMO, to make what amounts to flippant remarks. A few facts would be nice once in a while.
